Oh n0es!! Teh EMO is b0rked.

Here's the story.
I was driving on Rt.130 in Cinnaminson. I had just gone around a van in the right lane, and had sped up to get in front of him again. So now I am again in the right lane, about to pass another van in the middle lane. Well he decided that my lane was better and just started to come over. I jammed on the brakes, which locked up( DAMN YOU NO ABS!!!). I started to slide to the right at which point the right front of the car clipped the snow plow pile on the side of the road. The front bit in and spun the car around into the middle lane of 130. Yikes, you should never see headlights facing you.
So now I am lookng for a bumper, aftermarket or otherwise. We shall see...

That's what I am leaning at.
Not sure if I need to get the hood to match as well, then it becomes less cost effective.

I was facing the wrong way on the road, so the only plates I saw were the ones flying at me.
If the EVO 8 hood fits, i'll keep it. That is an EVO 7 front end with an HKS/Kansai lip.

I feel bad. Im guessing with no abs you have a evo rs. Even thou its a pain to fix a car at least your alright. that could of turned out really bad.
I think the Evo7 pic looked awesome. White evos are defientely my favorite.
Good luck fixing the car

good luck! And yes, white is the best color on almost any car. If they made the SRT in white, I would have bought 2...

Accidents are Teh suck... People need to just take the trains and leave the roads to us who know how and drive. Its your fault mike... you should have known they liked that lane better. They have a van they always have the right of way. Its called a huge blind spot and prob a huge fat roll that stops the neck from turning to check if their are others on the road.

I am working on getting info on the EVO 7 bumper that Pete posted.
The fenders, lights, etc. are all the same, but I think the hood and bumper are different than the 8 is. We shall see...

Damn!

I'll keep my eyes open for a good deal Mike.

ABS can't defend you from crazy drivers, I know. There were a couple of "crazy Suburbans" out there after the first snow fall that almost ran me off the road. I guess they thought 4 wheel drive can bring you to a dead stop from 40mph in thick snow and ice.
What is it with those drivers? :thumbdow:

If you noticed, it was always the Suburbans, Pickups, and Vans that were driving faster than all of "us" on the road.

Thanks man. There's that feeling of "I am bigger and thus safer" among those drivers. :shrugs shoulders:
