They mightn’t have been able to coax him back for the new film – well, not in the capacity the fans would’ve liked them to – but that doesn’t mean Vin Diesel’s petrol sniffing days are beyond him, just yet.

Captain crunch is apparently interested in bringing Dom back for the inevitable fourth “Fast and the Furious” film, reports VinDiesel.Hu.

According to primerahora.com, Diesel turned up at one of Latino singer Don Omar's parties, revealed that he’s returning for “Fast and the Furious 4”, and asked the musician whether he’d like him to contribute to the soundtrack.

Be interesting to see whether this comes off or not. Lucas Black is getting some good buzz in the “Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift”, so they might just decide to keep him on the franchise for another lap. BUT, it could be that Diesel has already inked a deal for the fourth film, especially if he’s in a position to chase music for the film. Sounds like VD’s production company could be involved.

Diesel was in talks to star in the third film, at one stage, joining original co-star Paul Walker, but the studio ultimately scrapped the idea – assumingly, for financial reasons.

You mean they get worse each time, at least thats what its like for me. I liked the first one, but the Tokyo drift was just aweful. It seemed like the whole movie was soooooooo cheesy.

FAF good, FAF2 horrible, FAF3 great, FAF4.... well have to find out.

I have heard rummers that they were going to do a 4th film and show what happen to VDs character after he took the supra. Not sure if he could hold it as the main character in the movie though.

watch after the end of the credits on FAF1, and watch the "turbocharged prelude to the fast and furious" for a lil movie to fill the gap between 1&2 on the FAF2 Dvd
