PICS - Mods on my EVO IX Special Edition

Yo TST,

I posted a thread about a month ago telling everyone about my new ride - 06 EVO IX SE - and now im back with an update. I've added a few simple things to the car and thought id share some pics, get some feedback, and get some ideas for future mods. All feedback/comments/ideas are welcome

Mods thus far:

- 20% Tint all around
- DeBadged front end - DeBadged rear (left the SE logo)
- A-Spec Titanium shift knob (ARC replica to some )
- Orbital Double-Din conversion kit - custom painted to match exterior of the EVO
- Pioneer Z1 Double-Din head unit with XM radio & Back-up Camera

Thanks for looking! Let me know what you think so far.....and YES, i like the movie Tokyo Drift! hahaha

Sleek looking.

Not a terrible movie either. Minus the E-BRAKE thing.

Keep it up!!

Thanks James. I actually enjoyed the movie after having visited Tokyo a few months ago to do some drifting an hang out downtown.

E-Brake? You mean when "bow wow" says using the e-brake is a style of drifting? LOL

Hey Thanks for the kind words!

Im not sure im going to go crazy on the performance of this car.....i am enjoying the power as it is - and havent decided how long im going to keep this car so i dont want to dump too much money into it.

However, knowing myself, i am sure ill get the "mod itch" and start to crank up the boost!

Do your research first. Don't just crank the boost an EVO needs to be modded in a proper manner. PM me for details if you ever get to that point. You could make that thing a monster with the proper mod path.

Depends on the dyno. 360 is kinda high for a IX on those mods, even on a Dynojet, unless you have a so called "freak". Or your tuned on the edge. Definately wont see 360 with a mail in/e-mail flash. Trust me man Ive been in the game a while and seen numerous in person/Dyno sheets 360 is a stretch. To be honest Ive seen so many that Id be scared to see 360 with those mod in fear of KABOOM
