mike's 02 WRX wagon: form and function

Well I finally got around to having the time to compile pics of my wagon together with a narrative. Here goes:

First I had an 04 WRX, but the synchros were starting to go, and I really wanted an EVO.

So I traded the WRX in for an 04 EVO RS. Did some mods to it, got it down into the mid 12's. Then I lost my job.

Couldn't afford to keep the EVO anymore, so I traded it in on a WRX wagon. I <3 white cars. As it turns out I probably could have kept the EVO, but I like the WRX, it has a utilitarian side that comes in handy.

When I first got it: first mod, debadge.

First up, a set of borrowed(now owned) STi wheels with my leftover EVO ADVAN's and a drop:

Then came the STi headlights. I miss them.

Some random shots from that time:

New license plate:

More random goodness:

New pads and rotors:

Then came winter 05-06:

I sold off the STi headlights because of a vet bill. Oh well. (I still miss them) I then painted the stockers white. I like to be different.

Finally got my skirts painted and got strakes installed:

Last exterior mod was my taillight vinyl. Covers the reverse section.

Mods currently are:

POWER
COBB AccessPort Stage 2
Perrin UpPipe
TurboXS Stealthback
Perrin Axleback
Sard R2D2 BOV
Optima Redtop battery

SUSPENSION
Eibach wagon specific lowering springs
Whiteline Rear Swaybar
Perrin rear endlinks
EBC slotted/dimpled rotors(front)
Hawk brake pads(front)
Carbotech PantherPlus brake pads(rear)
STi forged BBS wheels
ADVAN A036 tires 235/45ZR17

MISCELLANEOUS

STi Instrument Cluster
ZeroSports Pushbutton Starter
CGLock seatbelt lock
All lighting changed to red interior
Omori Boost and Oil temp gauges
Perrin Gauge Pod
Apex'i turbo timer
20% tint on rear 5 windows
gold pinstripe (matches wheels)

I am sure there is more I am forgetting, I'll edit as I remember.

IMO, I liked the STi headlamps better.

Edit: Also, why not just edit your first post to hold you new posted content.

Character limits. I didn't know how many I was up to.

If I could find a set of projectors cheap enough I would get them again.

Wagons <3 prodrive axle-backs. Good thing I'm breaking the trend, haha.

Always have liked your car a lot. I've never seen that tail light vinyl... custom or did you buy it from somewhere? Makes a big improvement on the rear end for such a little thing. And I want those Eibachs!

There is a guy on NASIOC selling the inserts. I love an all red taillight like the base Sentra has.

Plans for the car chane daily. Some days I want a big turbo and stroner trans, some days I want to trade/sell the car. It's not that I don't love the car, but I get bored easily.

Looks good Mike! I'm digging the painted lights too. How do you like the sound of your prodrive axle back. Is it 2.5 or 3"?

The Prodrive is the single best sounding exhaust I have heard.

Keep in mind I have run the NUR Spec, the GReddy EVO 2 and the GReddy SP2 before this.
It's the 2.5", so there is a bit of power loss, but I will trade that for no droning at speed.

New pics from today with the winter setup on.

With or without hubcaps? If they stay on I need Subaru decals for the center.
