So I'm drivng along Brownsville around 7:00am. As I driving I think I better watch out for deer there's been a lot around latley. As I crest a hill at 30-35 mph a deer does a leap of faith between my car and an oncoming car and makes it, however the following one wasn't so lucky. The first thing I thought when I saw it was, that thing is going down. It smacked its head on the headlight then its but spun around and hit the door

I barely felt it, just made a loud bang. A few choice words as I pulled into a driveway. The deer layed down for a while and then tried to walk away but I must have broken Its back legs.

I'm fine, just mad.

I would have backed over it.

That sucks though, insurance claim or ebay repair?

Considering the fact that it was a deer, the damage looks very minimal

It was on brownsville road.

I'm not gonna report it to the insurace.

I think the deer broke its back legs, even though I hit it in the head. If it would have jumped instead of ducked I would have been screwed.

I live off of brownsville and the deer around here are crazy. My dad hit two in one year with two different cars. I'm knocking on my desk that I haven't hit one yet.

I feel you, a deer jumped out in front of me on Brownsville the day before New Years eve...right after crossing the bridge, coming up the series of hills.

if u report it to ur insruance company its not ur fault and ur rates wont go up

It is not a collision claim, its comprehensive and doesn't affect your rates. At least when I hit one my rates were not increased.

every should be careful becuz right now is the worst time for deer accidents, the deer are in rut and they are chasing each other around alot.
