This morning I park in our company garage and as I walk into the elevator waiting area, I see a lady trying to park and hits a car while she does.

I watched the whole thing happen, then noticed the lady got out and looked over the car she hit. I asked her if everything is ok, and she said "yeah i think so, I don't see any major damage. I'll write down the license plate and contact the owner"

The car she hit belongs to someone I work with, and so I called her and told her exactly what happened. We go downstairs into the garage and see scratches and minor (very minor) denting of the bumper, and see that the car that hit her car parked somewhere else! We located this car, took down the license plates, and called building management.

Several hours later I got a call from my coworker and building management asking for a descriptiong of the lady because the guy from building management says he thought he knew who I was talking about. I describe what she was wearing and a description of her.

time goes by and they find the person who hit the car, but she is DENYING IT!

Building management told her a person watched her hit my coworkers car, and she still denied it.

They are going to talk to her HR department, and if that doesn't work, the cops because it was a "hit and run"

i hope that lady gets railed financially for the damage + a ticket for tryin to deny it.

Is leaving the scene a moving violation? If so, I doubt she will be hit with it cause it was on private property. Personally though, I hope she gets the worst. If someone hit my car and left there would be an ass kicking.

I can't believe she has the audacity to actually lie about it, hopefully she actually fesses up. I've had my left rear, right rear, and right front bumpers hit and scratched/dented in parking lots.
