Correct, also has bilstien suspension, vortex generator, anti lift, BBS, aluminum roof and hood, and im sure im missing some more! Drove both and I can tell you the MR is a smooth beast with the bilstiens it is much better then the Inverted MacPherson's on the SE.

If you would be moding then no it is not worth it IMO, I like the 5 Speed over the 6. They are having some issues with the 6sp. But all are nice cars, just look at a GSR, or SE for the money it can't be beat.

The MR is like the best sex ever.
The IX is like some good sex.
The RS is like you didn't really mind banging that "okay" looking chick.

Every model is amazing. Depends on what you want and what you want out of your car.

i drove the MR and the SE when i was looking to buy...
The 6-speed just didn't feel as nice as the 5-speed model, eventho having a 6th gear is nice...
the power felt the same, which was an awesome burst in both models...
the handling was definitely smoother in the MR and more responsive,
but the turning radius imo sucked a big one.
lots of cabin noise in the MR as well, not that that's a big deal.

Basically just go drive both and let that make ur decision. Oh, and the $5000
more for the MR is also something that will aid in the decision IMO lol.

But look at me talking, I decided to go with the STI

i've talked to multiple people and 90% of them chose the STI over any EVO, they say the STI rides better and a lot of things about them are better

The steering is great but the guy you quoted said the turning radius sucks, and it does. You can't make a u turn in an Evo.

The STi or STI rides better because the suspension was designed for offroading and the Evo was designed more for tarmac which is why on a roadcourse the Evo will do slightly better but the STI wil be better than the Evo at a rally. The STI is also made to understeer while the Evo oversteers.

They are all awesome!

IMO the GSR is the best value. The MR doesnt come with enough extra for the price they charge. Slightly better handling, one more gear(5 speed feels better though), and HID's arent worth the almost 4k they wanted for it.

The RS is a great car if your looking to build a race car but if its a daily driver you might find it lacking. No power door locks or windows, no sound deadening, no trunk liner and no radio.

The turning radius does suck in the car though. But I'll gladly give it up for the responsveness the car has to slight steering wheel inputs.

The MR also has more CF, but not much. The MR doesn't bounce around like the other models. If you want to consider the MR being 5K more, then also add leather seats and a better stereo on your list. Those items come with the SSL package which is only 3K less than the MR.

So if you want leather, 6-speed, wicker bill extention on the spoiler, BBS's, CF interior pieces, votex generator, bilstein shocks, aluminium roof and hood.....all for 3K.

I dont know the cost of everything, but the wheels are 3500 alone.
