I'm into alot of the ideas set forth in the rules section here. But the term enthusiast by my defination is not a car originally made to be basic transportation that now has obnoxious exhaust and a wing with a bunch of stickers and a cold air intake that on it's best day might run a 16 sec 1/4 time. Or how bout this if you have more money into your car to look the part than actually perform the part again thats not my bag. I'm new here and not here to stir up a bunch of crap. Maybe my first impression of the site is off and I am sure there are true performance machines on here. I was referred here by a very nice fellow rolling in a clean wrx I met while cruising down 78 and it turns out we live fairly close to eachother. Like I said I'm not here to make waves. But is this a "ricer" site? Racing Inspired Cosmetic Effect. No matter the make of the car.

this isnt a ricer site. have you looked thru the peoples garages? and i mean people's who post garages. and beside we dont discriminate against anyone who joins, so there are prob a few ricers on here.

I'll admit, I'm a boarderline ricer. I love the sound of ball bearing turbos and blow off valves, I think carbon fiber is gods gift to earth, and I would probably get new rims before a stage IV NGM intake manifold.

No, I mean I get the idea of a nice set of wheels. But there is a line that gets crossed way too often. You guys have to see the cars I speak of you all drive around in public right? The rusted out honda 4 door accord with an aluminum bi plane wing screwed into the trunk with rusty screws and a fart pipe. Or how bout this the car "whatever it may be" that has full ground effects, giant wing the fake intercooler K&n stlye air cleaner and full engine treatment with coloroed flex loom. But it looks fast "I guess"
