How's it going everyone. First time posting good pictures of my Evo with my friend's turbo first generation Neon since I used to own my SRT-4. Hope you all enjoy the pictures, I figured I'll just cut to the chase and post up the pictures. Comments and constructive criticism welcome.

Nice pictures! Does the Neon have an SOHC motor or did he go with the 2.4L swap and then turbo that?

the neon is mine. i have a fully built sohc motor, i was going to do a stratus 2.4 motor but, the sohc motor revs much higher than a 2.4 and can put out enough power, im just getting done breaking in the motor i have to change the oil this week. ive only been running 1psi for break in, but soon enough will run 10psi and it will most definetly be a very quick car, just a neon?? lol

P.S. the evo looks alright, but that neon got me realy excited

I've got to give kudos to Mike, he's definately getting alot of attention for the Neon, and that is awesome because it's an amazing car.

what makes the Evo SE different from the MR? i keep hearing abou the SE wthout really catching the difference

-Aluminum Roof
-HID's with in headlamp fog lights
-Front Lip extension (only SE)
-"Diamond Black" BBS wheels (only SE)
-Red stitching on Recaros and rear seats (only SE)

MR's have the aluminum roof as well I believe, HID's; however, the BBS wheels are gunmetal, not "Diamond Black." Also the front lip extension and red sticthing is exclusive to the SE.

I believe the sticker price for the SE is $33k and change. I didn't pay that, but that's what the sticker said I believe, I don't remember, I'd have to look around for my window sticker.

Plus the MR has the 6-speed, CF e-brake, vortec generators, wicker bill extention on the spoiler, and Bilstien's

What I want to know is can you get the sub with the SE?

ohh damn that must be a new option Bilsteins with the MR. i never knew that. 33k i guess isnt a bad sticker price but for the sake of 6spd i would pay another 3k for the MR

No, the sound package is solely available with the SSL package.

I suppose, I'm not too fond of the 6 speed to be honest. There seem to be mixed opinions in regards to the MR 6 speed transmission, but that's only from what I've read on EvoM. Aside from that, most, if not all, the high HP Evo's are on the 5 speed transmission.

The options from the MR I named are only in comparison to the SE options, the MR has more options then what I named.

Evo pics didn't load up for me.

But NEON HAWT!!! Most 1st genners WISH they had taste enough to build something that clean. My only suggestion... black out the cooler and piping. I like it sneaky.
