depending on the tv you may need a converter of some sort... because your computer outputs in digital signal and most older tv's dont have digital input...

get yourself an S-Video cable. that should take care of some of your problems. if not then theres another cord that resembles a printer cord and on the back of your computer will be a picture of a tv, get that cord and youre golden. but try s-video first

THATS IT! used to ahve the set-up on my tv, if its a newer tv, whcih you said it is, than s-vid is most likely going to work. unless your tv is right next to your comp i suggest a wireless mouse & keyboard also

well my computer doesnt have s video, so im kinda screwed i guess. i just took it out and checked. there is some hold that says 1334 or something like that. my tv is kinda alittle too big to pull out myself. i think its a 32 or 36 inch tv. normal style tv (not a flat screen). i will check that tomorrow. what are my other options if the tv doesnt have an S cable as well?

i think the one that looks like a printer cable might come with an A/V end. aka, red, white, and yellow plugs. if not then i dunno what to tell you.

Are you doing this solely to watch videos? Otherwise you'll be sorely disappointed because the words will look all blurry and crap....
