Holy christ, that was one of the best grand prix of the season!

I seriously dislike the fact that they are going to a single tire supplier for next season, as most of the excitment of this race was due to the differences in the two manufacturers tires in wet and dry.

F--- David Coulthard. That was as **** move on his part, which is pretty much his standard.

Fantastic driving on Shumi and Alonso's part, and the honda boys looked fantastic, which may indicate a possibility for actual points contention next season.

Sorry Toyota... 'an online poll done by the FIA indicates that Toyata is the least popular of all F1 teams.' Ouch.

Yeah that comment about toyota was funny. I love the shumi move on the inside cutting over the grass and the curb. Good racing the tire choices made it so interesting.

In setting it to ONE single tire manufacturer doesn't that put the weight even more heavily on team-budget and technology??

I agree, besides michelin had the option to resign, but shortly after the USGP debacle they chose to let the contracts run out at the end of this season. I love the qualifying formula now....MUCH better. The race was great, I love seeing Alonso act like a whipped pony. I cant wait for the last 2 races...I am hyped

Look at it like this. This weekend, if everyone were running the Bridgestones, would the renaults have been p1 and p2? Would the race have been as exciting? As it were, the michelin teams were hoping it to stay wet, as they had a far superior intermediate, and the bridgestone teams were hoping to hold out until it got dry, as they had a better slick. That made the race a fantastic watch.

As far as the teams being all about equal, I would say you have two dominant teams with Ferrari and Renault. Followed by McLearan who is competitive but has had reliability issues, coupled with a lack of top tier performances from their tallent. Honda could be a contendor, but i doubt they will break into the top two with current performance. Everyone else seems to be unable to compete on the same leval, including the BMW/Sauber team, though they are really in their inaugeral season.

He's been complaining about his treatment at Imola, and the qualifying incident with Massa.

The FIA does seem more than a tad biased towards Ferrari's success.
