well folks, i did some shopping not too long ago... and my parts have come in.

obligatory group shot

JDM auto water sprayer switch (press once and it stays on, press again to shut the intercooler sprayer off)

JDM STi GeNome triple gauge set (water temp, oil temp, oil pressure)

JDM STi GeNome Boost Gauge(havent decided where im going to mount it yet)

i was really amped about this... gauge accessories... makes installing so much easier (oil filter sandwich and radiator hose already tapped w/ fitting)

hood for the gauges

JDM fog light set (Crystal Grey Metallic surrounds with multicolor lenses)

not really jdm but its my TiC super shifter kit (front and rear shift bushings, pivot bushings) and TiC Klunk Killer bushings for the rear end

oh and i almost forgot to mention... in the first shot ... my JDM "lightweight" bumper beam (makes installing the fogs easier)

and finally a shameless shot of the filthy car

i can't wait to get this stuff installed...

its not about the fact that its jdm ...its about the fact that its rare/elite.. i bet there arent more than 100 guys in the states running the genome gauges

I am done wit this rare **** because it takes 10 yrs to get. I still never got my ****ing wheels, seats, or anything yet and I ordered it all in May!

haha if you think the rear is the bitch than you obviously havent ever done the 4 shifter bushings that go up front...
jon... that stuff is all sick, i dont even want to know what it cost. if you need help with installs on any of it let me know, even though we arent too close together.
way to keep the quality up on your modlist... i say keep the car the color it is and just continue to add quality mods.

What front 4 bushings? I have replaced the bushings on my 5spd and all it was, was the front 2 bushings which are held together by those plates (which incidentally I forgot to put the spring back on, so now my shifter is sloppy as crap in neutral) and that rear bushing which is like trying to fit a <insert sexual innuendo here>. Are there more?

there are 4 that go up front in the u-joint thing that i cant think of the name of... this requires complete removal of the shift linkage and is a total pain in the ass because of lack of clearance. there are also 2 pivot bushings that go in the joint in the linkage above the balljoint.

Yeah, not gonna go there...

The short shifter with those 3 bushings I mentioned already took me 4 hours because I had no room to move under the car - it was only up 1 click on jackstands in the front only.

yea im sure itll be a whore... im hoping to get on my buddy's lift and maybe get an install day going or something... if not .. i have a garage.. and beer for the help..
