Insane Hill Climb Footage

This is probably THE fastest car I've ever seen outside of F1. The speeds this thing reaches is just insane. I looks almost like a radical, but I don't think it is. All I know is it has very little weight, very high RPMs, and 1 or 2 hp .

I'm about 90% sure this is real and hasn't been sped up.

I think the car is some prototype european GT chasis car with a Judd engine. Read > $200K. Probably over 400hp and under 1000lbs.

Although the fenders look like a radical's, but the center nose doesn't appear to be one (not that I've ever looked down the nose of a radical)

Holy crap!!

I wish people would post information (lots and lots of it) when they get videos like that on Streetfire...but instead people put assening comments about it.

Good game streetfire community.

It's a norma M20, driven by Alain Castellana. It has a BMW 3 liter engine and I think he Castellana also designed the car or at least had some part of that.

1 or 2 hp???

WTF!

Anyone, there are ALL DIFFERENT kinds of hill climb cars . They were just up Weatherly (carbon county) last weekend.

They are powered and bodied by anything from the picture above, to what amounts to a mini indicar with stock gsxr600 motors to fully worked Busa motors. Most of them just use stock R1 motors though.

The cars weigh in at 2-300#'s, plus driver. So you have 150rwhp in a 4-500# raceweight car. They are absolutely NUTS, and the drivers are even more so for doing some of the races! The M20's and all of the cars in that class are just as nuts, but I give the little cars even more props!

Wow! The thought of actually driving at those speeds in those tight confines scares the crap out of me.

Thanks for posting this.

True, but your internal organs will be going somewhere when you hit them at 120+ in that car.
