yeah they still meet up there on sunday nights by the sams club but i dont go up there anymore. too many shady ppl that have sticky fingers.

oo ok. any of you know where people w/ older muscle cars meet at? i have a '78 malibu that i'm in the midst of restoring w/ my dad and we can never find areas where people are meeting

Those Who Challenged - It's not my car to race, plus it has no initial pick up. 1/4 mile i couldnt tell you as a fact cuz we havnt been to a track yet, top speed as of so far is 135 @ 3000rpm. we're trying to find a good rear to put it in so that it can really move. we used to have a '79 w/ same engine, but different rear, the guy we sold it to put on slicks and ran high 9's

not lookin to run against anyone right now, we still need a good handful of interior parts and rear bumper...we (my dad and i) figure if we can find some local guys that they can help...its real tough to find parts for a '78 malibu, they're not very common
