Pics of the Other" car making progress

I took a few pics of my other car while I am trying to get it closer to being done..I bought this car 5 years ago, drove it for 400 miles, and has been sitting ever since..I finally paid off my balance for some work and parts that were installed and brought it to my pops garage where I could work on it. Since I'm broke, I'm trying to take care of all the low cost items to get it running again..It's an 85 GSL-SE with S5 turbo II engine and transmission swap, running Haltech EMS, 550 primaries and 680 secondaries, stock turbo, ect.. Goal is around 280hp with the stock turbo, and when I'm done, it will most likely weigh around 2000 lbs. Needless to say I have a bit of work to do..

I bought it as a stock GSL-SE and blew up the motor within 400 miles of ownership, and I'm still trying to get it driving 5 years later.. Typical RX7 owner

"550 primaries and 680 secondaries"

i don't know rotaries too well but i do know on normal engine that'd be way overkill for your power goals. mind explaining at all? why you need those injectors?

I have 2 injectors of 550cc/min and 2 680cc/min.. The 680's kick on when you hit boost, or whenever I decide I want them for that matter. They are definitely not too big for the stock S5 turbo with more boost..Rotary engine are fuel hogs and I'd rather have room to work with then be maxed out on the stock T2 550 secondaries..The 680's are actually from the GSL-SE engine..

oh you only have two injectors per fuel rail? that makes sense. i didn't know that rotaries were such fuel hogs. thanks for explaining.

Rotories use alot more fuel than piston engines. I had 550cc primaries and 1,300cc secondaries in my car and I was at 85-93% duty cycle at 20psi and I was only making 400-430whp.

Rotories must run ritch to decrease the chances of detonation. One ping in a rotory engine and it's done. Makes for awesome fireballs on decel though

lol, I actually have the greddy A/F gauge that uses it's own oxygen sensor..I got it before widebands became affordable.. Retal price on that when I bought it was like 350, and I'll be surprised if I even use it for anything, although I have an EGT as well.. Eventually I'll end up getting a wideband I can swap back and fourth from the evo to the mazda..
