I plan on attending, I haven't decided if I want to race or not yet. I may just run in the bracket class to try to get the car dialed in some.

Whats your supra run? Do you go to events often? If so, I've probably seen you around.

I thought I would make the deadline for this, still might, but chances are looking slim, very slim.

Is this like the NOPI where if your car is fuel injected and your car is domestic you can still run in it, because if it is I might try to run brackets.

Nope imports only, unless you have an srt4 but no v-8's that I know of.

Thanks Driven. Well it looks like I won't be able to race my mustang in it. Does anybody want to lend me an automatic import. If I make any type of earnings I will give most of it to you considering it is your car haha. I have plenty of experience in brackets.

Bracket racing with an auto at that kind of race is like arm wrestling a parapalegic..Don't take this personally, but I hate the guys that show up to the import only events that would normally be at home watching nascar, but instead decide to bracket race they're wife's taurus wagon because they know the majority of the people there will be racing with manual transmissions. Again, don't take it personally, I never have to compete with cars like that, but feel sorry for the people who do..

Why do you feel sorry for people that do? Most of the guys on our team end up taking out the guys that bring the slow auto's anyway and they are driving manuals. Most people at the import events can't cut a light to save their life. Until you get down to the final 4 or 6 you really don't have to be to concerned with your dial in as long as you can cut a light. When I was bracket racing half the time I would be on my brakes 3/4 of the way down the track and cross the beams just rolling not even on the gas b/c I was so far ahead.

My car is an auto...but then again, it's far from being a Taurus.
