At the cruise last night, I was told by Dirk (gtp_power) that I had a clicking sound coming from my passenger side. Naturally, I was quite worried, so this morning, I walked out to find my tire FLAT and my rim on the ground. Here ya go.

And yes, the head of that does indeed cover up my lug holes. 3/4" or more.

Oh, yeah, I had warning bumps on warning bumps, and whe I got the tire off, it had rubber cracks all around and looked like the cord was going to peek.

Can you do that? I thought the manual always said to use the jack, because other things might crush underneath?

It would work, but theoretically, the spare wouldn't fit back non if you did it that way.

Update 5-14-05:
From the blurry pictures, it's been said that my tire got owned by a VW/Audi skidplate rivet.

Which points fingers at the DSM of the group, since his sister has an Audi. ;)
