New meeting spot

Ok I think i posted in anohter thread about this but we need to get on the ball with a new location. I talked to the owner of the cheese steak place on bristol road close to the Neshaminy RR. He said he would be cool with having us there for a few trial meets. He talked to the local cops and beleive it or not the cops vouched for us. They said we were a good group and we really try to enforce ourselves. THe guy is not the owner of the property, he is just renting. So while the place is open we are cool when it closes we gotta go.

Requirements by him:
-We would have to leave around 10pm.
-We will have to enforce ourselves a bit more. No Revving, no deafening music, no horseplay period.

Downside to the lot:
-Not huge but large enough to hold quite a few cars with a little inventive parking. (IE no gay ricer diagonal parking) Its alittle bigger than the strayer lot.
-Lighting isn't the greatest. May have to use some headlights.

Upsides:
-WE HAVE PERMISSION!!
-fairly cheap food with outside + inside seating.
-More roadside exposure. So we may get acouple of people to come in from that.

My thoughts are that becasue of the curfew I say we bump the meet back to its original time back in the day back to 7pm. We could always go to the pub or something afterwards.

If we wanna try this place out I have to get back in contact cuz he normally closes at 7pm on weekdays. He is willing to stay later on Thurs for us in order to increase buisiness.

*Update* Heres the Menu

If we do decide to try this out I would like to push everyone that attends to buy some food. If we can increase sales for them it would provide leverage for our cause.

I know where it is, so I am in.

Sounds like a great idea. I agree Mike, everyone needs to buy something once in a while. This guys doesn't mind having us around as it is, but once he sees the profit increase, he'll be in love with us.

I'll say it again. We need to buy food. If the guy is going to stay open for us, we need to justify it for him. His hospitality will end real fast if it is not profitable for him to be open.

Agreed. Its actually really simple to get there seeing as its not far from RR ( ). But as sad as it might sound, I can't really give the directions because I don't know all the road names back that way because I live more on the total other side of Bensalem and I don't go near the mall much. Anyone with street name knowledge willing to help these guys out?

Directions are easy:
Just go as if you were going to Red Robin from Rt. 1, but instead of making the left onto Horizon, continue going straight to Old Lincoln Highway.
Make a right on Old Lincoln Highway and continue to the traffic light, this is Bristol Rd.
Make a left on Bristol Rd. The place will be about 3-400 feet up on the left side.
(If this isn't the place or I screwed up the road names feel free to correct me, I AM from NJ ;) )

i think i know the place so we can always meet somewhere and cruise if needed.

i don't like the idea of him staying open later for us for 2 reasons.

1. overall sales could vary week to week
2. if the meet is early at 7pm, by 8 or 9 we'll either be eating or done. I'd hold off on dinner for the meet but I'd never make it till 10 and I have previous things I do Thursday nights already so I always will be leaving around 930.

My only other concern is although we were very good at Oxford Valley, we all still did the normal "hard driving" when we left. (you guys know what im talking about) This could NOT happen considering the space available for something like that isn't there and we don't want to ruin a possible oppertunity. Basically we would REALLLLY have to enforce and control ourselves. Even beyond the area, consider if the guy asks the local police about us, they will be on the look out for us. If we are assholes up and down bristol road and rt1., kiss our chances of meeting there or keeping the slack from the cops down.

Otherwise, 7pm meets on bristol road are good for me.

Ok, I'f you guys are cool with it I will stop by and tell him we are on for next week.

Here are direction from RR to the place.

Head down the RR street toward rout 1 South. Instead of going straight or right to get to Route 1, make a left. Follow that till the of the street. It T intersects with Old Lincoln Highway. Make a right on to Old lincoln. Follow untill the light. You'll see the Flower store is on the corner. You can only go left or right at the light. Make a left onto Bristol Rd. follow it like 20ft. You can't miss it. Its the same lot they use to hold the flea market on Sundays.

Also I got a menu from the place so I'll try to scan it and post it up.
PS. The place is named Absolute Steaks

Your are right sfd. I had the evo and the other evo and srt4 were my boys. Those guys are real cool, plus i told them on the way over to OVM, that you guys do not tolerate any bulls$h**t. I think its nice to meet up and chill, especially when I work and go to school full time. its not cool to attract negative attention yourself or a group of people by acting a fool. You figure law enforcement owns the streets, so being positive is always better, or it might come a time when we will only have two places to meet:
1 - having to meet at someone house(and how many cars can fit in someone's driveway)
2 - playing Forza motersport on xbox live.

haha, everyone got Forza, man. Don't you have to pay monthly to play Xbox live? I got rid of my Xbox about 2months after it came out, so i never got a chance to get Xbox live.
