Someone was telling me yesterday that they heard about this. Supposedly in the philly area, and maybe in the newark area...(the person that was telling me couldn't remember...i'm doubting newark though)... Anyways, the police are going to have a completely unmarked 350z rollin around, and whenever someone tries to race him, or any vehicles around him, he radio's in to marked police cars, telling them where street racing is, and the racers get nailed.

I don't know how reliable this info is. Seems ridiculous to me, but I guess a pretty good way for cops to cut down on street racing. The only reason i'm thinking this could be true is because I was driving last month and saw 2 cops, with they're police lights on, flying the opposite direction down the road.. one was a delaware state cop, and behind that was a blue mustang, with what looked like an oem kit. And as i'm sure anyone who lives around the newark area, knows about the black, unmarked charger that is around pulling everyone over... The F-ers are gettin sneaky.

Anyways, anyone else heard about the 350z?

I hope they're not keeping the Z stock and expecting people to try to all out race it all the time...

This is very interesting info. I know Virginia uses unmarked red Mustangs for cop cars (I've seen them, they're sick), so Delaware using them is very likely.

yeah, I saw mustangs a few years ago as cop cars in atlanta. Just always hoped they wouldnt feel the need for it around my area... 350z's though?!

And isnt that some type of entrapment if they start picking races with other cars?

It's called entrapment, cops aren't allowed to entice people into racing them and then arrest them when they do.

I'd never pick on a 350z I like to try to race Vipers, Ferrari's, and Lamborghini's. If a cop tried to entice me with a F430 for a race I'd sooo be down for it.

From what I heard on DSR it is a stillen supercharged 350Z that was confiscated a few months back. Don't know how true this is but that is what is being said.

I had a cop "entice" me to race, well sort of.

He was on my azz for a good five miles and I would have dropped the hammer on him if it wasn't for the fact that I had two busted coilpacks and my engine was not as healthy as it could be.

That was the only time the fact that my mustang was broken actually saved me.

I did flip him off when he finally passed me

. If I cant see your headlights, you are too close I dont give a shiat who you are. If I would have realized it was a cop I would brake checked him. And by brake check I mean have him slam into me as I locked em up.

One time about three years ago I once saw an 90-93 honda accord with rims and a drop pull over some other car. Cop was at his door I guess giving him a ticket.

Just a note....in the Columbus, Bordentown area of NJ I spotted a black Dodge Charger that was a cop.
Also, if I can find the post over at another car forum...I forget what area, but there is a cop in a all black, 2005 Mustang GT with black tinted windows, driving around with exhaust done and whatnot, attempting to catch people race.
THATS EXACTLY LIKE MY CAR. No wonder why no one wants to race me haha.

we have chargers as well. all have push bars and in grille lights, but some are otherwise unmarked.
