due to my parents getting divorced, i am no longer gonna be under my dads insurance, i was wondering if you guys had any recommend any particular insurance carrier. I will be 21 in december, i've gotta clean driving record (knock on wood), and i'll soon be independant moving in w/ my g/f. Who should i go with and any estimates for cost?

Hey,

I did this thing called assigned risk. Insurance companies have to take a certain amount of assigned people each year. Mine is $1500ish for my Intrepid per year. I have State Farm.

I just changed ALL of my insurance to The Hartford. Homeowners, car insurance, commercial car insurance, and business insurance. I increased all of my coverage and came out saving ~$1500. Sweeeet!

I pay 1700 a year now on my mustang.

2000 is a killer deal for a male with a sports car and under 25.

full tort and mid range limits. I have set my deductible pretty high. Reason being is that if someone hits me I just make the claim under their insurance and dont pay any deductible.
