You people have got to have more than cats and dogs. (We've got 3 cats and a Scottish Terrier)

This is a picture of my parrot about a year ago. She's a Senegal Parrot, born janurary 26, 2005.

This is one of her "baby" pictures, as I've yet to take any more.

anyone have anything else other than cats and dogs?

Birds, reptiles, rodents, etc?

yeah, I have a bird.

$500 for a pet that lives 30 years > a pet that costs $800 and lives 10-15

it is also smarter than a dog or cat, or most people I know

no nerve struck. I'm pretty interested in birds and was going to go into school to become an avian vet. That was until I learned how difficult it would be and would require more hard work than my lazy ass would do.

On topic: I have no pets because my landlord doesnt allow them. However lately he has been requesting a lot of computer help and I am thinking about convincing him to let us have a ferret or something similar. My brother's purebred black lab just had a litter of 10 pups. They look like little rats haha.

if my cat wasn't such a jerk and didn't try to bite everything that moves I would definitely get some type of reptile. I know it would be safe in an aquarium but I'm sure my cat would find a way to get in

Nice... I used to have chameleons, but they kept dying on me. I stick to snakes and frogs now.. much easier. lol
