Is that the big place that has the stream that you can fish in?

You can definitely fish in there and there is like a shooting range or something too.

Any more information on this? Is preregsitration required? Classics only? Would they freak out on a bunch of import people?

I have only been to Cabela's one time. It was last summer and it happened to be the day of their first cruise nite. They didn't have much info for me and weren't sure if it would be a regular thing. On that day, the cars were all musclecars and street rods.

I'll call Cabela's today and see if I can get some info. The parking lot is large enough so even if they don't allow imports, we could have a whole event right next to the musclecars.

I've been there a bunch of times, I just never knew that they did the car cruise night thing - I'm in, regardless. Bring on that damned big block Chevelle, and I'll send him packing with his ego in his hand...

Ahh, I see. Actually, I have been on what seems like a one man crusade to convert all my musclecar bud's, and get them to the Freshworks meets. It's almost working.

I've been a Mustang guy for years (had 8 since high school, graduated in 1982)...had a couple of Chevelles, and my first car was a 1968 GTO. I love the older stuff, but my thought is to always do the road race thing, and most old guys just want to build them as drag race poseurs. Some guys respect all cars for the effort and time put into them, like I do, but many muscle car guys, especially the more modern version crowd, get all arrogant about imports because they see too many idiots in Cavaliers and Focuses with unpainted body kits, fart can mufflers, and stock wheels and tires...these are the guys who swear their cars run 12s, and drive like total dip****s 95% of the time. With so many ricer morons out there, I can understand why the old guys, and the new generation V-8 guys, look at imports funny.

I'm hooked on the import thing after being a V-8 guy for years, both my sons have imports, and look forward to seeing what my car does at the Subaru Shootout in Numidia next month. I travel a lot with my primary job, and I still may buy another V-8 car, but I think I'll always keep a nasty import around for fun, autocross, and road trips for work.

Just noted - you'll be in a Mini Cooper? Killer....had an S version when I was stationed in Greece (83-86).
