So I just baught a electric cutout, be here in 2 weeks. Anyone rockin one of these SOB's?

mine lasted a couple months before i started having problems with it. first one of the screws in the butterfly valve came out so it was leaking, then the valve started not sealing correctly which means the electric motor is shot. i still have to send it back for them to fix it.

so yeah i wasn't very happy with mine-

How long ago did you buy yours, I beleive they have made some updates to their stuff. I did hear some problems with them, but the majority of the threads I have found were back in 2004. Hopefully all these bugs have been worked out. Loctite will be my new friend.

it was purchased in summer 05'

DON'T take anything apart and locktight anything- i had to drill the one screw to even get it out (the other fell out as i said). just bolt it up and wait to see if it gives you problems. even if it does they are only charging me 30$ to fix it. kind of a pita though to send it out and everything.

i had one on my 82 mustang gt...cause the car was single exhaust and it was on the car when i bought it...huge difference...sound and performance difference
*edit-dont know the brand of mine but it was an electronic one

i had one on my wrx for about a week. I did have problems with the screws for the butterfly valve too. Mine had a very little leak when closed and i didnt like that so i sold it

Mine is going to be a pain to sell, I baught the y pipe wich is going to get welded into my midpipe.
