As far as I know, they don't do a whole lot with the VIN, except maybe checking to see that the registration is for your car ('05 Hyundai). If you pulled up in an '96 Tercel, then maybe you'd get some slack.
Overall, it takes a little more sleuthing to figure out options than they're really willing to put in, and they're far more concerned with roadworthiness and emissions, you know? |
