The 2006 edition of the Road Runner marks the return of Wile E. Coyote after a 22 year hiatus. The rally will be 80 miles long. There will be no course following traps with 95% of the instructions at intersections. Speeds will be below the posted speed limits and changes in speed will be minimal. Route instructions formats will be varied as NRIs, Flow Chart, Tulip, and Stick Map. Entry is open to all types of cars and small trucks with a team of two people per vehicle. Course following will be straight forward with a goal of all vehicles finishing the course: however, being a coyote, Wile E. just might conjure up situations to add a little extra interest to the event.

I'll get it together for you tomorrow. As a bonus I am working on a special class for TST members, so there can be a TST champion for each rally.

The rest of the schedule is:

8/6 - Oldies but Goodies rally
9/24 - Fall Foiliage Rally
10/15 - Witch Way out of Jeopardy

I'll post up more datails as I get them.

As for the TST class and trophy. If there are two teams of TST members that are pre-registered and paid two weeks prior to the rally (this is when we need to order the trophys). We will give a pair of "Best TST Member" trophies to the highest placing team of TST members. Just write Tri-State Tuners Member on the entry form and enter stock class.

I had a chance to see the dash plaques and trophys last night. Everything is good for this Sunday. If you haven't signed up yet, it is not too late. You can even sign up the day of the event, but you might not get a pair of dash plaques. See you there.
