This is what could happen if you neglect a car. I got this 92 eclipse at an auction for $10 dollars and was going to use it as a daily driver. Figured the head was bad because the timing belt was trashed (almost no teeth on it). Popped the head off and found this mess. Atleast I have everything but a tranny for my a/t to m/t swap. If you own a dsm dont neglect it.

I've never seen a timing miss THAT bad before.

Is that STRAIGHT through that piston...where's the rest of it??

Yeah right on through. It was funny tearing down the block and being able to see out the piston.

Block is in decent shape other than that to bad its non turbo otherwise I could start rebuilding for the car I'm going to buy. I'll get more pics of the piston out of the car its almost falling apart.

Carridge Trade baby the only place I buy cars. If you have some knowledge on how to fix cars you can get a nice car for cheap. Heres my 91gst auto I picked up for $550.

Conshohocken(spelling) past king of prussia. Mon and thurs starts at 5 you can view them before they start the auction. Watch your pockets though it crowded and my dad got pickpocketed last time he went.
