The FQ version has 400 Bhp. Sweet video.

I think that in Europe they measure horsepower by BHP (brake horsepower), with is different from wheel hp...i think

Does that mean that a 300hp US spec evo is a 400 BHP Uk spec? im just taking a guess

Brake Horsepower is the measurement taken at the flywheel. So yes its different than WHP. U.S. spec EVO's are rated in BHP. As far as i know there is another model above the MR in Europe and thats the FQ. Bigger turbo, Cams?, remapped fuel and timing curves, Injectors. Any knowledable Evo guys care to help out?

Im pretty sure there are two differnt FQ's......i know there is the FQ400 and i thought there was an FQ300, can anybody clear this up?

Fq300= 300 bhp
Fq400= 400 bhp

In the UK they have the following EVO models.

FQ-260
FQ-300
FQ-320
FQ-340
FQ-400 = believe this was only available in the VIII not the IX but could be wrong.

The FQ400 runs off of a conservativly tuned Motec M-800. It had upgraded turbo, exhaust,fuel, ect. ect. Basicly it about as much potential as a regular evo from a higher starting point..With bolt ons that is easily a 500 hp car..
