New member in Center City (56k no)
I've been lurking on here for awhile now and figured I would formally introduce myself as well as my cars. I currently live in Center City but am moving out to the suburbs in August as im running out of room. Also looking forward to an oversized two car garage finally  I thought I would go ahead and show some of the current cars as well. The first is a 1998 Volvo C70 coupe. The color is called Saffron and it was pretty low production with approx. 135 imported into the US in this color. Car is currently apart for an engine rebuild. Hoping to have it back together by the end of the summer  Current mods: Engine SPM forged rods Venolia forged pistons ARP rod bolts/head studs Total seal rings Ported/polished cylinder Custom inconel exhaust valves Custom stainless steel intake valves 5-angle valve job ported n/a intake manifold ported turbo manifold n/a throttle body(larger) SPEC IIIr clutch(only one I could find for this car) Civinco piggyback   fuel 650cc rc injectors walbro 255lph fuel pump turbo system Garrett GT3076r-wg turbo(internally gated) 3" turbo back suspension KW Variant 2 coilovers IPD anti-sway bars Volvo oem front strut brace Wheels/tires/brakes 19" Moda R6 wheels 245/35/19 Kumho's 302mm front rotor upgrade stainless steel brake lines slotted/drilled rotors  Interior Pioneer AVH-P6400 in-dash tv Sparco Torinos(being replaced)  Exterior IPD grille V70r front bumper molded radicast headlight wiper plugs vst cf front lip '03+ "jewel" headlights/turn signals (front grille is black now, not silver)  Next car is an '02 SLK230. This is the current daily driver for the fiance. Only mods are an H&R cup kit. Looking for decent set of staggered 18" wheels to put on there. Don't even think she would notice, lol.  Last one is the new daily driver. Its a '92 Sebring Silver/black NSX. I just picked this car up and had it shipped from the West Coast. It is supposed to arrive Friday via the car transporter. I can't wait to get it in, i've wanted one of these for years. Have a few mods planned for it but nothing crazy. Gonna focus on the body/suspension/wheels. (sorry for the bad pic, will post some better shots once it gets here on Friday)  I have two other daily drivers/standby's in case one of the cars are down but they aren't anything special so I don't want to waste the bandwith. Thanks, I appreciate the comments. Im hoping to come out to some of the local meets. Im gonna be about 10 minutes from KOP so im sure i'll make it out that way later on this summer. Are there any other weekly meets in the area? regards, Matt |

there's a meet every thursday in richboro, pa. and then the kop meet on fridays. there are lots of other meets that go on, but not all weekly like those two.

wow welcome, NICE C70! there so rare to find in 5spd as well. the color is really nice. Center city... hmm i wonder if i ever seen you arround, might be noticing you arround once u get the NSX hahaha. i go to school in center city so i see a bunch of cars not normally on here daily. any way look forward to seeing one of ur cars at a meet sometime.

Welcome aboard. That is a pretty badass Volvo right there. Probably the first C70 coupe ive seen to have extensive engine mods done to it. It sounds like it is defenitely going to be a beast when its done and back together.

Hey there,
Yeah, thats one of the reasons I wanted to modify the C70. You rarely see them with extensive mods and you can make some decent power out of them, especially with the built engine. Completely stock with just an ecu upgrade(14lbs. boost) the car put down 233hp/271 ft. lbs of torque to the wheels. My goal is to double the hp, guess i'm just gonna have to wait and see, lol. regards, Matt |
