I was selected for VIP

Hey all, Just wanted to let everyone know I was selected by UrbanRacer.com & ScionVIP to enter my 05 xB in a car show. It's in Englishtown NJ on May 1st. It is usually $55.00 to enter in this show & I am one of 75 Scions that were chosen for the VIP package. This means it is free for me to enter with many other perks while I am there ;)

I have added TST to my special thanks list that will be in my car during the show. I will also be handing out the same flyer that put me on this site in hopes to bring some new members.

I may be getting sponsored by a local Toyota dealer which will be a HUGE help.

There will be a ton of cars there as well as racing that day as it is the Import Nationals. If any one is interested in going, go to www.ScionVIP.com & click on Englishtown Icon to see the list of events for the day. Admission is $25.00 a person for spectators.

Anyways keep your fingers crossed for me , as I know this will be a hard competiton for me to win. Win or lose it should be a great time

I am a noobie, I look forward to it when are the meets ?

Thanks all, I have been putting alot of work into getting it ready. I have a few goddies on my xB but some of these guys who got in have a whole lot of goodies.

I don't feel it's always mods the judges look at, but more so the quality of the mods, how clean & well kept the car is, and the way the car is setup at the show - like a first impression. If the car is setup right & attractive to the eye the first time the judges pass it they will remember it later.

These areas are where I have been spending most of my time. It is in the shop getting all of the chips painted & the front bumper resprayed due to the long winter. Put the new grille & tails on once they show up & then its off to detail.

This is my first major show so if anyone has any tips for me, by all means speak up !

Meets are Thursday nights from 8-whenever people leave. Usually it's posted in the upcoming events section every week what's goin down.
