RX-8 vs Audi TT? which one would you get?
I can’t make up my mind! The car will be used as daily driver and slightly modded for autox in the summer. Keep in mind i'm in love with turbos after having my GT-S boosted. For what I can see 02 Audi TT 225 Coupe: 225-hp 207 @ 2200 tq Weight: 3230 lbs TT Pros - Factory Turbo - AWD - Luxury Car - Good MPG - Great for snow in winter - Good torque curve - With chip can go up to 260hp Cons - I’ve heard VW’s have a lot of problems, is this the same case with Audi? - Understeer - Heavy - No sunroof - Girly looking - Getting Old, Newer Make to be released Mods in Mind - Chip - Haldex Upgrade - Suspenssion 04 RX-8 232-hp 159-tq @ 5500 Weight: 3,045 lb pros: - 50/50 weight distribution - Better for autox - More unique - RWD fun - Lower Mileages on a used one - 4 doors - Sunroof - Better looks - Newer Model Cons - Horrible Gas Mileage - Really Bad for winter - The Mazda brand just doesn't have the elegance that Audi does. Mods in mind: -Suspension What would you guys get out of those two cars in black or silver? ![]()

I’d have to go with the RX-8 if I had to choose between the two cars. I love the RX-8 in dark grey and there’s nothing like the smoothness of the rotary. It makes piston driven engines seem soo crude.

If I had the choice I would go with the RX8 also. I haven't driven one myself, but I've heard they handle great.
You can always turbo it later. I don't know how they handle in the snow, but I do know that my 7 SUCKS in the snow.

if you want a hyped up beetle go for the TT, if you want an enjoyable car that is slightly better for DD in my perspective go for the 8. I doubt the mpg is that much different b/w the two. The 8 looks better and you can drive 4 people with it, well at least more than you could with a TT.

Id say RX8. Anybody ever see that thread on clubwrx.net where they had a link to a magazine article that stated that the TT was the most desirable car for ghey males? Not a joke, its a real article.
