6/24/06 - UPDATED PICS FROM DAY 1 INSTALL Below!!!

Hey Guys,

This past year my car has been all drag so I figured I'd finally get it ready for the real track. I have a bunch of open track days lined up but the true fun won't come till August 4/5th for the Time Attack (www.timeattack.com) event at Summit Point.

In the mean time, I'll be installin all the new stuff over the next 3 weeks so I figured I'd document it along the way. Today I installed my KirK Racing Roll Bar, below are pics and the stages I guess I'll be following.

Stage 1:
Kirk Racing Roll Bar
Strip Mad Weight

Stage 2:
Stoptech Front Big Brake Kit (2 piece rotors) 332mm x 32mm
Stoptech Rear Big Brake Kit (2 piece rotors) 328mm x 28mm
Motul 600 Fluid
Stainless Lines
Tein Flex Coilovers
Enkei RPF1 17x8" Gold Wheels w/ Advan AD07 Tires

Stage 3:
Reinstall Aquamist 2D Pump
Get tuned on 50/50 Methanol
Hawk HT-14 Race Pads

haha Eric you took those with your camera phone yo. What a day, no tune because beat boost controller, WTF! The only thing that saved it was lunch at pasquales, and the fact that I got more power on 14psi waste gate pressure than a wrx he just tuned with an 18g, yes!!!

A car that isn't completly stripped of everything will not be competitive in time attack by the time the 2nd season rolls around, I have seen some of the cars on deck to run time attack and they are no joke

Your car looks good. I was thinking about doing the time attack also. I just need a couple more things and I'm good to go.

Ps- Make sure you wash your car IMMEDIATLY after racing if your gonna use the hawk race pads. The dust will eat your paint in no time flat. (just incase you didn't know)

wow I had no idea... my carbotech race pads dusted bad but I never thought about it eating my paint. Thanks for the heads up man

circus_clown - there are regulations you have to follow for the street class, I am fully gutted according to the Time Attack Street Class rules. You still need front dash and door panels unfortunately. As well as tires above 140 tread wear.

Street class is a rediculous class and its pretty much registered and has glass but I know there are limitations but they aren't strict at all from what I read
