Crappy Day for the Track, Not Just the Weather

Well it all started this morning when I was loading the camaro up on the trailer. We just got this brand new open trailer this week. Well the ramps that go on the back of the trailer has these little screws on the bottom at the one end to put in these holes on the trailer. Well when the back wheels were coming up the ramp....bamn. The ramp fell off because the front wheels apparently made the screws come out of the hole when it transfered on the trailer. Well now the left side of the chassis is sitting on the end of the trailer and the little hump on it. Well we got the cars rear wheels off and back on and that was that. Then after a good couple passes of the camaro at the track it got cancelled. They were in the middle of first round of junior dragsters which was the first group called for the eliminations. My brother lost first round so he got lucky because when they call the event short and all classes weren't done first round then that means no one gets any points. Well that is like the third or fourth event cancelled this season. Anyways on the way back home about a little less than 10 minutes from the track my dad and bro are in the motorhome and trailer behind me. They here this weird clunck noise and we decide to pull over. When we look we realize the wheel got torn from the drum of the brakes on the trailer. The studs like snapped. Then we see this guy drive buy with a wheel that looked exactly like the one on our trailer that was on his open trailer, like he just picked it up. Because when we went back to look for it when it came off we saw no wheel but some of the fenderwell that got torn off with the wheel. Sorry for the long bad day. Anybody else have a bad one?

I almost died on the Turnpike today when my tires decided not to grip the road in the middle of a turn during a torrential downpour. Firestone Affinities < anything.

So yea, my day was bad in that respect.
