New Saves The Day CD

Anybody have it? Listen to it?

Thoughts?

I picked it up last night, didn't have much time to listen.

I've had it for a little while now leaked... it definitely tries to go back to the punk stuff from Can't Slow Down and some Through Being Cool (two of my favorite CD's.) I hated whatever he does to his voice the first time I listened, but once you get used to his voice it isn't so bad. #1 I still can't listen to, but #2 is pretty good and there are some really good tracks throughout it... they're never going to top their first two CD's though.

I also confess I started listening to In Reverie about a month ago... and two tracks from that CD I really like.

my friend from high school was on one of their album covers... the one where they are dancing in a house.

ahahah I told you. I can't even listen to it. The CD grows on you, but I don't know what the hell he's doing with his voice.

Can't Slow Down.

as for chris' voice, im quite disappointed as well. In Revire kinda flopped with fans and when I saw them live after that album came out, they played maybe 4 songs off it, then broken into pretty much every hit from stay what you are, can't slow down, and through being cool.

the problem is chris had a drug problem, which i think took a toll on his voice.
