Does anyone here plan on running the Broad Street Run. It's Sunday May 9th. It's a 10mile run...more info at www.broadstreetrun.com

I just wonder if anyone here is doing it, or if anyone here runs in general.

I use to run a hell've a lot, 90+ miles a week...I'll eventually get back into it. I know guys I used to run with will be there. If you see the Philadelphia Track Club, root them on.

i signed up today. i havnt run any events before, but i'm in pretty good shape. i did 10miles a few weeks ago in 1 hour 33 minutes. but it's all on hills, and i hear that this run is gonna be pretty flat and straight forward.

As a warm up three years ago to this event, I ran the Sea Isle City 10 miler in 57 mins. It was crazy windy! Its all about training!

wow! 57mins is crazy fast.

i've only been running for a lil more than a year, and for the most part it was 1.5miles, and when i bumped it up to 2.5, it was a big deal. about 2 months ago, i found a good 4.8mile route that is a little hilly, but an overall good run. the 10mile course that i run is crazy hilly, so if the broad street is flat, i should be alright.

i'll be sure to post my time on sunday after i finish

Yeah man def. I was training since my freshman year of high school, (4:38 mile in H.S. 4:18 Mile in college, 9:50 2 mile) def. know where your coming from. Def. mad props to anybody who does anything over 5 miles. Good Luck to You!

so, the broad street run was yesterday. there were alot of people, around 15,000 people if i heard correctly. i picked a helluva first race, lol. my time was 1hour 23minutes and 28seconds. i liked the course, but it was a little boring, and i'm glad that it went by fast. i guess they were right when they said that it was the quickest 10mile course in the country.

just wanted to tell everyone that i'm still alive, and i wonder if anyone else ran it.

congrats.. not bad for your first at all...once u get the mileage under ur belt...that time will drop majorly. Congrats
