what will we listen to??

i happen to like alot of different music...ranging from hardcore to ska to hip hop to punk...and i was listening to some cds and really started wondering...what the hell am i going to listen to when i get old...like will i be listening to the same stuff i do now??
interested to hear what other people think

probably the same i listen to now. I have a huge range of music.

Brad Paisley to Norma Jean.
Daughters to Immortal Technique.
Necro to Death cab.
Jedi Mind Tricks to Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Sepultara, Megadeth, Slash's Snakpit... All this and then some is what im sure ill listen to , lol.

Country, Rock, Screamo, Underground Hip hop, Irish folk punk, Classic Rock... ahhhh...

i dont know...i just really cant see myself or anyone else just rolling down the street listening to A perfect murder or Bury your dead at age of 65...just doesnt seem like it will happen

That's funny, I think about this all the time. I wonder if I'll look at the stuff I listened to now the way I now look at the stuff I listened to in 7th grade.

I don't know if I've ever seen such a diverse group of bands. Daughters, Norma Jean, Death Cab, and LYNYRD SKYNRD. I applaud your wide range of taste, haha.


I'll probably listen to lots of the same quieter stuff, like DCFC, Sufjan Stevens, The Shins, One Am Radio, and ambient/rock stuff like Appleseed Cast and Explosions in the Sky, but ditch all the heavy stuff. Who knows, I still might listen to Shai Hulud and Comeback Kid when I'm older, but I doubt when I hit my fourties I'll still be into it.

Yes, I love it all. I dont know why but people look at me rocking out to Flogging Molly like I am psycho, switch to some Jurassic 5, then some Toby keith, throw in a little White snake.. haha

I love music. =]


I also hate to say it but im a huge into club music as well.

yea, ive thought about this too.. like my parents listened to doo-wop and what not,, im gonna tell my kids i listend to As I Lay..

maybe play them a cd, which mite b 'out of style' (like cassettes).. hrmm,, intresting.

Yeah I seriously listen to anything just about. I don't listen to boy bands and R&B but like everything else. regae, rap, punk, rock, oldies, classical, techno etc...
