Anyone for a Crossfire?

Hey everyone...my friend across the street, CarbonIS, pointed me to the site, so here I am. I've got an '04 Chrysler Crossfire, white with two-tone grey leather interior. It's a nice little 2-seater, but it's basically stock right now. I haven't decided if/what I'd want to do to it, so feel free to lay on the suggestions. It's not a bad little package as is, especially with the 19" rims on the back and 18" rims on the front. The engine and chassis are taken from the Mercedes SLK320, and is the first joint venture between Mercedes and Chrysler (it may be "American", but it's more than 50% mercedes parts, and is built entirely in Germany in the Mercedes plants). Hope to see you guys around!

It's all about style with the Crossfire.

I love when the wing pops up on the highway.

The car is great as-is, but if I did any mods, it would mainly be for looks, aftermarket wheels, etc. (It's a pimp thing, you know.)

Welcome,

Can't go wrong with Cold-Air Intake and Exhaust. The wheels are sweet so I wouldn't mess with them. I love the Crossfires stock myself and the wing is teh hotness.

Who likes the '91 Chrysler LeBaron Convertible in the background of the bottom pic! I had that for 5 years until I got this one last May. That was a fun little car, at least with the top down. Too bad I don't have any pics of the pimp white tiger seats that were in it. ;)

Uh,

On second thought, I'm not sure what I would do. Those pics look good.(If I did wheels, they would have to be something serious!) It looks damn good stock.

I do like the idea of an AMG, Mike.

Yeah, the one complaint I have is that it's not quite as fast as it "looks". I mean, it's certainly not slow (I've had it up to almost 150mph on the PA Turnpike, and it's solid as a rock) but it could be better. An AMG would be amazing, but instead they have an SRT-6 supercharged for 2005 (as well as a convertible). This one is 215hp, and that one is 330hp. At least that puts it in M3 territory, but I don't think it's worth the hefty price tag that it carries. For that much $$, why not just get a new 'vette. Which, btw, I can't wait for the new Z06 corvette to come out!

Ohhhh so you finally decided to post huh? I've been trying to talk this guy
into doing some mods to this thing since he got it in July...I'll eventually break
him down...I can't find any body kits or anything for it, but I can imagine
that a low key, stylish lip kit would make this thing awesome...
If anyone comes across one, let me or Marc (who started this post) know

I raced an automatic with two old heads in it. I pulled a little on him.

I used to drive these things at work. They look faster than they are.

Crossfires are so hot. Though I can't help thinking about the Milton-Bradley game.

I had that game.

It was sick.

My mom threw it out when my sister and I modified the guns to shoot the cats.

The name actually comes from the line in the body that runs from the front bumper all the way to the rear bumper, and "crosses" the car...or at least that's what I heard someone at Chrysler say last year. But, I have that game too, and I also shot those things at my cat
