I thought the idea of a Wrangler was the ultra-short wheelbase to go climb over ****. Why would you make it longer? Like stated above, there's the Cherokee/Liberty for that niche.

Suzuki samuri 's are the **** for that, but Jeep was the next best thing. I don't see the point

When I test drove one of those, it had no balls whatsoever. I would take a Jeep over any other vehicle for offroading, all things considered (yes, there are some vehicles that will outperform a Jeep, however, an H1 is overpriced to buy and maintain, and Toyota Land Cruisers are getting really rare and expensive as well).

I've owned two now. The first was a Wrangler. Loved it. Now I have a Cherokee. Awesome for snow driving around here.
