I did a lot of thinking, and this is what i plan on doing to the FC this summer...

What I need:

-Starter
-Battery
-Wheels and tires

What I want:

-Sand and buff everything out. Shave mazda emblem and rear wiper.
-Get a B Magic aero kit... I like it a lot, and its cheap.
-Front or V-mount big intercooler conversion.
-MicroTech engine management

And if I make more money than expected...

-streetport
-t4 turbo upgrade
-carbon hood
-at least one BRIDE seat

-steering wheel

At least its a start... What do you think?

FC3s amazing car if i could find one in good condition i would kill for one... FDS are my favortie tho

Don't forget about fuel of course.

Maybe you can skip the aero kit and get the turbo upgrade first?

I agree with Jerry on this...put off the body kit plan, I would make a step in the right direction with a turbo upgrade with all supporting fuel systems

My plan is to drift at Etown. I am making plenty of power for an amateur. I need suspension though, and that **** gets just as pricey as anything else... And the kit is for
#1 cracked front
#2 rusted rear

and cheaper than doing an S5 body conversion...

And Jer, of course, my fuel pump/injectors will be addressed as soon as i figure out my battery/starting issues. These will come before all else.

And a streetport

I know, a lot of people think its corny. But i have always had the BEATER with at least a decent engine. My old FC ate up all the shiny news cars...but I want a pretty car for once, dammit! Is that so much to ask for!?

Take it easy bros... hope to see you all soon now that the weather is nice... but **** these gas prices! I cant take it with this 93 octane **** and i know you guys are feeling this one too!!!!!

PS: Does anyone have a wet sander? Anyone want to help me tear down the body sometime? I've never ****ed with bondo, so any help would be the bomb diggity...

What kind of suspension where you thinking of getting? Coilovers, springs/struts?

I occasionally find used tein coilovers reasonably priced... thats what i really want, but I can't afford them brand new. Any cheaper suggestions? And some guys on this drifting forum I'm on told me the first thing i gotta do is get toe eliminaters and fix my rear camber... any info on this?
