You can pay for school but you can't buy class... Car had dark tinted windows and what appeared to be a legitimate Kuwaiti front license plate. Why anyone would dip a newer Benz such a color is beyond me, but different strokes for different folks.

Anyone see it running around?

I really need to fix the camera on my phone.. I've missed some pretty serious photo opp's

Was the plasti-dip not well done? I saw a smurf blue one where you could almost tell that there was a darker color underneath last week on by the walmart on rt38 in lumberton, nj..

plastidip in general is ghetto. people talk about how great it is b/c its so easy to remove, funny thing is most actually have not tried removing. it works on great on grills (plastics) but on painted surfaces, forget about it.

Ironically I just saw this car again not even 10 minutes ago ha. The plastidip is poorly done in my opinion because you can see the spray marks on the hood when the sun shines and instead of removing the emblems or taping them off etc. the owner just dipped over them in the blue. Not a fan

NO it's not, not without damage to the painted surface at least. And when I say easy, I'm referring to the fact a car was entirely covered in this crap. If you want to talk about the painted surface of a 5" panel, sure it's easy enough to take off. But to remove from the entire car is just painful, it's not like it's a giant rubber skin that comes off in 1 shot.

Yes it does. Not sure what you are doing but you are doing this wrong. I spray full cars all the time and also remove it to respray. No damage at all. Only time you run a chance of any damage is spraying over freshly clearcoated paint that hasent cured for a few months. Besides that I can peel a full car in about 15 minutes. Even quicker when using chemical to dissolve the dip and a pressure washer.

Right? I think it looks awful. There's a ford fusion running around in the same color dip with some lime green accents and I think it looks much better just because they did a better job dipping it.

Where'd you see it at?

Saw it while I was going out the schuylkill around 10 am. It was sitting in traffic headed into the city so I got a good look at it. You can clearly see the black showing through where the dip is too thin along the side of the car as well as the hood, just a horrible spray job overall. I've seen a bunch of dipped cars and they can look fine, this one is just poorly done.

Also for the guy talking about dip being hard to remove, you probably didn't spray it thick enough.

Saw it at the KOP mall on Halloween. The job isn't all that bad but, still a hideous color and stupid.
