Paint Correction in Bucks County. Where?

I just purchased a very nice s2000, however the paint has been slightly neglected. I need the paint professionally corrected. I have seen Oakes mentioned here on the board, but they are all the way in West Chester. Is there anyone reputable, closer?

Reputable, No. Closer, perhaps...

I've been around automotive paint my whole life and it's ****ing expensive, to be blunt with you... Much like tattoos and condoms, there are some things in life that you don't skimp out on. Things that could end up costing you thousands more than the original purchase if it goes wrong. I would put this in that very same category.

Call Oakes.

EKLIPZ stated pretty well. Oakes is probably the only recommendation you'll get on this board, and his reputation is mint and his work is always top notch.

Reputable by who TST knows or reputable in general?

Oakes is great but there are others...

Autopia is the first and last name in automotive detailing so check who's nearest you with good reviews.

How many of you have personally been to Oakes for detail work. I would like honest replies from those who have spent their hard earned money a detail, not from TST fanboys that see a name throw out in a thread and repeat it.

I had paint correction work done by him, and was completely impressed by his work. There were some pretty gnarly scratches on my back bumper, and he got them out. couldnt even tell they were there.

ive never spent my money there but ive been there many times and see his work and seen his customers reactions when they see their car when they pick it up.

if you dont think its worth the trip then dont go, no one is forcing you. you asked for professional work and people are trying to point you in the right direction and then you call everyone fanboys

I've had Nick Oakes do my Supra several times over the last few years, and I personally know a few other buddies who had their various cars done by him, Supras and other cars. I have no doubt he is one of the best. If I'm always perfectly satisfied with his work, why would I look for somebody else?: save a buck? save a few minutes driving? play russion roulette with my car's finish?

Relax, I am merely weeding out the fools that repeat what they read here and actual customers. You're right no one is forcing me, but for $500 I would like to hear feedback from actual customers. If you are not one of them, then feel free fall on back. Thanks
