York, PA help needed

I just moved here from Missouri, and I paid my buddy who I trusted, quit a bit of money to install my 2.4 slowboy racing destroker into my 2g GSX, as soon as we put in and after the first few start ups it was making a funny ticking sound that seem to be just a little chattery valve train. He assured me time and time and time and time and time again that it was okay, because was just cold natured since it was still winter time out and cold. We are now warmer out and now this thing is starting to tick take like crazy although it does seem to quiet down when the car warms up a bit. I've got way too money in this much money this thing it makes me sick to my stomach to even hear it run. I know quite a bit about cars and my setup and im pretty knowledgeable, I've just never been able to have a lot of hands on experience with the car do to me leaving it at my moms while I was in the Navy for the five years I owned it. I'm looking for a trustworthy person in the area to help me and look at my car and figure out the issue cause I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to pull my motor again and I'm not happy about it.

I just talked to my buddy that installed it again and he said he pretty sure its piston slap because its a lose built motor Manley turbo tough rods with wiseco 1400HD pistons. But It sounds like ****
I have heard about CBRD but I was told they don't mess with DSM's

They specialize in Evos, but their fabricator Brent has a built 1g. Can't hurt to ask. They're straight up and will direct you elsewhere if they don't want to touch it.

sounds good I'm going to look up the website to see if I can find the address. I've only been in PA about a week now so we'll see if they can help or at least tell me what the sound is exactly

Look up Adam West (yes thats his real name) on Facebook. He is from Lancaster. I would imagine if he can't fix it you can drive it into the River on your way back to york to rid yourself of any headaches. Tell him Scott Herman told you to message him.
