I have a 2002 vw jetta 1.8t with like 193,000 miles on it. my epc light came on I pulled the car over the car won't start back up. I smelled something burning from the back of the motor it turns out it fried my computer for the motor I brought a new one had it reprogrammed and put it in and the car fried that computer without the car starting where could my electrical short be at. I hook up a vac-cam computer to it and it says no connection even with the new computer in the car just trying to figure out where the short is.

I put a turbo back exhaust on it about 3 months ago and that is it
