TJ Wrangler AMC 2.5 Help!

Hi everyone, between my father and myself we have bought a Jeep project for ourselves a 98 Wrangler 2.5 5-speed. We are very familiar with the 4.0 straight 6 but not the 2.5.
Here's my question we tore down the engine and found out that it needs a connecting rod and cannot find one to save my life.
I was just wondering if this one would work: http://www.jeep4x4center.com/connect...-53020126.html it says its for a 87-90 but I have seen that the engine has not changed internally for all those years and I just want to make sure it will work. As in that I believe from what I am seeing online the blocks and internals are the same for yj's and tj's, with minor changes.

Also, no I am not part of any Jeep forums so if no one can help me on here then I will join one and ask them, but being that I have seen a couple jeepers on here I am having some hope.

I'm pretty sure the YJ and TJ 2.5s are identical.... I have a YJ with that engine, and I don't recall ever hearing or reading that it's different.
