My brothers cars has a horrible speaker setup. his car is an 2000 malibu. It currently has a stock head unit, after market front speakers and stock rear speakers....the rear speakers are all static and sometimes don't always work...i was looking at getting him new basic aftermarket headunit and new rear speakers. i wanted to see if anyone near bucks county / ne philly has good wiring skills and has the ability of installing the above. I'm guessing it would need the rear speakers rewired possibly...i planned on taking it to best buy but wanted to check here first to see if anyone could do the same job for cheaper then best buy...it would need to be done somewhere between the 20th and 30th of december...if you know anyone that could do something like this def let me know. I'm located in lower bucks county. I'd be willing to just do the rear speakers and rewiring without the new head unit if that fixes the problem

Thats a pretty simple job. I wouldn't take it to best buy. If you have some basic knowledge of vehicles/stereos you can do it no problem. There's probably a walk-through somewhere online too. I would just give it a shot yourself. I've done a bunch. I would definitely help but I'm pretty far and have very little free time right now sorry. If you decide to give it a shot on your own and have any questions you can hit me up.

im leaving for Georgia tomorrow or friday but will be back next friday ill be visiting my parents in holland that weekend

its simple. whatever headunit you get him, make sure you get the correct cage and wire harness for this car. all you do is splice all the same color wires together then plug it into the oem harness.

Go to metros website, they have detailed instructions for removal and reinstall. Here's one for your car (probably depends on which model stereo you have stock) http://metraonline.com/files/product...9-3303_web.pdf as far as wiring, just get the correct wire harness and match colors.

Bestbuy isn't a bad option either, they are incredibly cheap... That's the route I'd go.
