So I still have the charger. My dad took it over and paid it off and he's going to sell it in the spring. I just purchase this 06 MK4 GTI tonight. It's an automatic unfortunately but I got it for a good price with low miles. Has 39,000 miles and is mint condition. Completely stock with the 1.8T. I'm going to keep it mostly stock through winter and start off with an exhaust, intake, and see what I can do about a tune. Oh and coilovers. I do plan on putting bags on this eventually but coils will do just fine. I even got a 3 year extended warranty as well.

List price was $12K, I got them down to $10.5K. Pays to know people

What's so wrong with getting out of a broken gas guzzling boat into a smaller fuel efficient cheaper car. I don't see anything wrong with that

Also, if you're going to bag it, bag it. Don't dick around with coilovers and then try and bag it. Do it right, or buy it twice.

I like this much better than the charger, I would stick with coils as opposed to bags but thats just my opinion

I looked around I just didn't want a high mileage car. I think eventually I may do the swap. I wanted a stick but I liked the low miles. Plus it's my daily. I like though. At least it has tiptronic which is ok

Well if you plan to go low and maybe bag might as well keep it auto and not deal with the hassle of a swap.

Interior looks clean and there's no CEL.
Too bad that its an auto.

Any paperwork on what service was done to it while at the dealership prior to hittin the lot?
