I'm no Accord expert, but a few minutes on Wikipedia tells me that the stock engines for the 89 Accord are the A16/A18/A20 engines. It says that the upper class Accords had a B20A engine.
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_A...2.80.932002.29) As far as engine swaps go, you could always get an F20/F22 from the fifth or fourth generation. Or you can so a B20/V and get loads of lower end torque and some high rev power as well. it's really up to you. I'd search some chassis-specific forums and see which setup suits your mood. As far as your mirror question, I'd also search some other Accord specific forums or Google search the **** out of it. haha Hope this helps
