One of my friends well prepared track bike was stolen 2 nights ago. Being a track bike the fairings were a unique color. Surprisingly the idiot who stole the bike decided to start street riding it with no lights (again track bike), and its new red & white spray painted paint job. Was spotted last night (thursday) still in the NE Philly area tearing up the streets. Unfortunately no one was able to catch him.

Here is more info courtesy of one of the bike sponsors Team Pro-Motion,

"ALERT! It's an 09 GSXR600 and it was stolen from the north Philadelphia area Wednesday night. The bike has several unique and identifying parts and marks. The Armor Bodies plastics are painted in MDM colors
and Arthur's number, 332. The yellow paint used has a pearl in it and is very noticeable. Forks (Ohlins 25mm kit) and shock (Ohlins TTX) both bear MDM markings. Leo Vince pipe, Woodcraft case covers. Motor bears distinguishing marks as well. Brembo master cylinder and full Power Commander setup including map switch. If anyone has any information regarding this motorcycle or if any of these parts pop up in forums, Craigslist, etc ... please let us know."

This is what it did look like, now it is spray painted red/white.

Also just got word that his father BMW S1000RR was stolen the same night. Looks like this:

UPDATE: The GSXR has been retrieved. Some POS kid Jay Toomey was the one who took it. Waiting to find out more about the conclusion. Just happy my friend got his bike back. Hoping the damage is to substantial.

On a side note another friends black/gray gsxr was stolen from Oxford valley Mall tonight. Cash reward of $1500 for the finding out the bike. Bike has no mirrors on it and a Arrow exhaust.

Glad he got it back.... If you happen to see a 2003 R6....Slight rash on the case cover....Rear plastics scraped on one side pretty bad, Rear seat can only be held on with cargo net...Theres a dent in the tank from my nuts that looks like a baseball size....Looks like this... STOLEN 2 MONTHS AGO FROM LEOLA PA......

Bike was returned but a bunch of other parts and things are missing that was at the shop/trailer. Any leads on this are still appreciated.

sure is...but i kinda like my freedom. i can come and go as i please...eat at nice restaurants, drive nice cars...lol. something tells me if i go that route, there's a good chance i wont be able to do those things.
