My NEXT MOD LIST!!

Well i was considering selling my car but then something happened that really made me realize what i have. I took the car to get bagels and there were like 3 10 year old kids outside taking pics with camera fones. I came out showed them the car and such. That is one of the times when i realize how lucky i am to have my car. I have decided to upgrade the 240 a bit.

Roll bar/Cage
Z32 Brakes
Tie rods
Sway Bars
Traction Rods
Radious Bar
C Pillar Bar
Nismo Power Brace
PDM Racing Cams
Tune at 14psi
Install my 2 sparco seats
1 5 point harness (driver)
1 4 point harness (passenger)
Nismo 1.5 lsd
New Rims and tires

that seems like about it until i build the block. Input is welcome!!

We should race, on the road course that is. I'm getting serious with road racing the FD racing this summer. I need someone who can provide healthy competition.

Your list sounds good. It's cool to see someone who can appreciate what there car was made for. Our cars were never meant to drag race.

Sounds awesome to me. 04 Turbo Spec is very good at road racing and i am just gonna follow him around to where he goes for the most part. There is an event on july 14,15,16 at VIR that i am going to. I am also going to pocono to drive a Nascar (and my car) and i want to go to watkins glen.

Yea those are the best moments

we should talk about suspension setups before you go ordering a ton of parts ...i'm all about suspensions and tire and i've been around S chassis cars for a good number of years now

as for road racing....nice to know i'm not going to be the only S chassis member from the boards hitting the road courses this summer

Late,
Daniel

Yea i am not all that great with suspension stuff. I am just going off of what i have been told will work well. Then i test it and decide. We should set up some kind of Road Race meet where we can all talk about suspension and where we are all going. I think that could be very helpful for all of the people that want to get into road racing.

Kyb's don't hold a warranty. Koni's have an awesome warranty. IMHO they are the best non full-coilver setup availible.

For full coilovers I'd go with Zeal (B6 or Z6 or something like that) or Tein HA's. All of these use a mono tube shock assembly.

Tein Flex's are good for the money but they are a Twin tube shock. This is not the ideal seatup for serious road racing. I love the EDFC though. It's awesome to be able to soften up your suspension when you know the road is rough ahead.

i'm running the HEs (unfortunately they came on the car) and I don't seem to have any problems setting them up what so ever

i really like that idea about setting up a meet for the people who are serious about participating in road racing events this season. we can talk about which events we're going to and sign up dates and what not

Late,
Daniel

don't waste your money on the FLT-A1s...i had JIC FLT-A2s on my last car and wasn't terribly impressed with them...aside from the fact that the dampers went to sh it in a little over a year

if you don't want something as expensive a set of Zeal coilovers Cusco, Kei Office, and Silk Road all make an excellent coilover at decent prices (i'd go with the Cusco Zero-2 over the Kei Office or Silk Road)

I'v heard Zeal's are easiy to get rebuilt . Kei office and cusco would most likely be hard to get rebuilt.
