Im pretty sure I spotted Ray/Brooke's Cobalt on the news last night. Apparantly a van was stolen containing a mural for a school in his area. Noticed the car in the background shot of the broadcast.

Anyone else notice?

Inmates' Artwork Stolen

ROCKLEDGE, Pa. (AP) - April 4, 2006 - A mural Graterford Prison inmates spent three months painting for a southwest Philadelphia school was stolen along with a van belonging to a staff member of the Philadelphia Mural Arts Program.
The 60-foot-long-by-5-foot-high piece was painted on parachute cloth and rolled up in the rear of the van stolen Saturday from near the home of Jason Slowik, of Rockledge, Montgomery County.

Slowik and fellow mural artist Eric Okdeh each go to Graterford Prison in Montgomery County once a week. They had worked on the mural with 17 inmates, and it was due to be installed next week in the Cornerstone Christian Academy in Southwest Philadelphia.

The mural features images of young people in academic settings. "I will give my heart to thinking biblically. I will give my head to academic excellence. I will give my hands to helping others," it reads in part.

Slowik said rolled up, the mural looked like a roll of paper, and he doubted whoever took the van knew what it was. He said he hadn't yet spoken to any of the inmates about the theft. "It really affects me," he said. "They put a lot of hard work into it."

i saw a picture of the van and it had rims.. if they knew a puerto rican lived in the neighborhood you'd be the prime suspect
