Hey guys, I live in PA but i often go down the Ocean City New Jersey to work at the Sindia Restaurant on Plymouth Place (between 7th and 8th). I was wondering if anyone would be interested in doing a cruise/meet or anything sometime in the summer? (and not one for just AWD cars or anything like that, one that everyone can go to)

I'd go, as long as it was a Tuesday or Wednesday (my days off). There is a meet on Tuesday night at the shore mall in EHT just FYI. Sometimes there is a cruise afterwards.

Ok. We need a date, time and place. There really aren't any large free parking lots in O.C. How about Ocean Heights shopping center right over the bridge in somers point? Let's say Tuesday, May 15th(gives us time to get the word out). 9pm? I'm, of course, open to suggestions. However, if we dont comit to start this, it'll never get off the ground.

I wouldn't be down there until at least may 25th. do you think we'd be able to do anything in the parking lot across from the high school (Where the old high school was) and next to the tennis courts? that has a decent amount of space depending on how many people show up. I can't guarantee i'd be able to make it because my school is still in session during the summer but if i can i'd love to be there

Are you talking about the Shop Rite lot on Bethel Road? Good location, but we'd have to let SPPD know ahead of time. I'm a CO in Longport so I could set that up.

I have a few people wanting to set up something local also, so this all sounds like a great idea. It would be nice to have a meet around here that isn't full of children doing burnouts.

PS, are you the Limited I used to see all the time with the gunmetal rims? You make me miss my WRX, haha.

I'll keep checking in on this thread to see when things are happening. SPPD won't mind as long as we don't act like those kids do out at the Shore Mall.

I talked to SPPD this morning, and they don't mind, so long as we keep quiet and don't leave our trash anywhere.

Let me stress that we need to be on our best behavior. If this gets off the ground, it's a great spot to meet. I used to run a pretty successful AWD/Subaru meet around here, and I still know a lot of Officers in the surrounding areas. We were always cool, they were always cool.
